I am a biology major here at MSU, working on completing all of the prerequisites required for dental school. I am passionate about healthcare in general, but especially dentistry, with my main interests being in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. I chose MSU Denver because the university has a diverse group of students, a strong language program, and is geared towards the nontraditional student.

I joined the Student Board of Health Ambassadors to become more involved with our ever-growing body of pre-health students and in my time working with SBHA I hope to better serve the school and community at MSU Denver that has helped me gain so much that will carry me through the rest of undergrad and beyond.

I am a Cuban-American born in Massachusetts raised in Colorado. I chose MSU Denver for my pre-health career education in order to stay close enough to my family while getting through my undergraduate with limited student debt. I am a Pre-Med student with the hope of working in Emergency Medicine or Geriatrics. My long term goal is to work for global health programs like Doctors Without Borders.

I joined SBHA to promote the best quality of services/education for myself and my peers at MSU Denver and to engage in a community that values integrated medical care. With this program, I hope to help build more pre-health community and prestige for MSU Denver and to develop a more well-rounded, individual perspective on healthcare.
