I am a first-generation nursing student here at MSU Denver. I am originally from Ethiopia and I have lived in Colorado for almost 4 years now. I chose MSU Denver because of the diverse community and the opportunity of hands-on nursing care experience that will allow me to
succeed. Following the completion of my degree, I hope to work in Emergency medicine because I enjoy a fast-paced work environment but, most importantly, because I want to save lives and ease the suffering of patients and their families on what may be the worst day of their lives.

I joined SBHA because I believe it will allow me to promote the best quality of education for myself and others here at MSU. I also enjoy the fact that I will be collaborating with students from other healthcare departments to bring change to our campus.
