I am a proud Colorado Local originally from Lone Tree and living in downtown Denver since 2017. Currently, I am an undergraduate student with a Integrative Healthcare Major and pre-healthcare minor, intending on pursuing a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine after graduating in Spring 2022.

I started the SBHA because I saw a need for community among health students and communication across health disciplines. I believe that we cannot ever hope to fully conceptualize effective healing when problems are isolated from the full complexity of the people they operate within; fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among students before they enter the workforce will help to transcend barriers and work towards a more all-encompassing approach to healthcare.

I am a Pre-Med student currently studying for a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a Chemistry Minor with the goal of becoming an Emergency Medicine Physician. I actively engage the student body at MSU Denver because of the diversity of backgrounds that MSU Denver fosters through accessibility and value. By working with the Health Institute and MSU Denver’s Open Educational Resources Director, Dr. Emily Ragan, as a Supplemental Instruction Leader, I hope to promote free educational resources such as OpenStax among students and faculty alike. I am proud to say that I recently graduated from Denver Health’s EMT course and plan to go on to become an entry-level provider in the near future. Outside of school and work, I am an ultra-endurance runner.
